The intermediate rail fastening anchor ARS-4 is designed for embedding into reinforced concrete anchor sleepers during its manufacture and is used to attach the base of the R-65 and R-75 rails. The anchor is manufactured in 4 versions ARS-04.04.005-01, ARS-04.04.005-02, ARS-04.04.005-03, ARS-04.04.005-04.

Due to the desire to reduce track maintenance costs, in recent years more and more facilities have been built using APC4 fastenings. The ARS-4 fastener is intended for use on seamless tracks of heavy-duty mainline railway lines, including high-speed lines, as well as subways. Consists of Terminal ARS, Mono-regulator ARS, Terminal block ARS, Anchor ARS, Insulating corner ARS, Rubber gasket TsP204 ARS. Used in ARS-4 fastening. The fastening kit for one sleeper includes 2 ARS-4 anchors. Add. information: for sleepers with anchor fastening ARS. a permanent frame-arch type anchor embedded in the under-rail zone of a reinforced concrete sleeper, covering the base of the rail and combining the work of two terminal units. Specially designed for use on heavily loaded broad-gauge tracks, the ARS-4 fastening is cost-effective (including due to the low detail) and reliable.

Installation of Rail Anchors
1.Select the appropriate rail anchor for the specific application
2.Clean the sleeper or tie - Before installing the rail anchor, the sleeper or tie should be cleaned of any debris or dirt to ensure a secure fit.
3.Position the rail anchor - The rail anchor should be positioned on the sleeper or tie, with the curved end facing the base of the rail. The anchor should be placed in the center of the rail base, and its orientation should be consistent throughout the installation process.
4.Hammer the rail anchor - Once the rail anchor is in position, it should be hammered into place using a sledgehammer. The anchor should be hammered until it is snug against the base of the rail.
5.Test the rail anchor - After the rail anchor is installed, it should be tested for tightness and stability. Any loose rail anchors should be re-positioned and re-hammered until they are secure.
Maintenance of Rail Anchors
1.Inspect rail anchors regularly. These inspections should be conducted at least once per year, or more frequently in high-traffic areas.
2.Replace damaged or loose rail anchors. Rail anchors that are no longer snug against the base of the rail should be re-positioned and re-hammered or replaced.
3.Maintain proper torque. Proper torque ensures the rail anchor is snug against the base of the rail and can provide the necessary stability and safety.
