What is American Standard Steel Rail(ASCE Rail )? 

ASCE rail typically refers to American Standard Steel Rail which defined by the American Society of Civil Engineering and manufactured according to The ASTM A1 standard. It is widely used in railroad tracks in North America. Usually, it is the consist of Light transit or light rails for temporary hauling tracks in forested areas, mines, construction areas etc.  

ASCE rail is famous for a tee-rail profile and a flat bottom. Its height equals the width of the base. Meanwhile there is a fixed proportion of 42%, 21%, and 37% for its weight in head, web, and foot of the specified profile.
