Meanwhile there is a fixed proportion of 42%, 21%, and 37% for its weight in head, web, and foot of the specified profile. ASCE rail typically refers to American Standard Steel Rail which defined by the American Society of Civil Engineering and manufactured according to The ASTM A1 standard. It is widely used in railroad tracks in North America. Usually, it is the consist of Light transit or light rails for temporary hauling tracks in forested areas, mines, construction areas etc.
